Hi, my name is Rosa. I’m a self-taught artist specializing in watercolor art— sketch portraits, pet portraiture, graphic illustration, and website design.

Art began for me as a way to decompress from the fast pace of a corporate career. Sketching and painting became a meditative practice, a quiet space where I could breathe. Before long, friends and family began asking me to paint their pets, and I discovered just how fulfilling and meaningful art could be. Since 2020, I’ve been creating commissioned pieces with a deep commitment to capturing the unique essence of every subject.

When working on a portrait—whether it’s of a beloved pet or a cherished loved one—I meticulously study each reference photo to ensure that even the smallest details are honored. From that first spark of inspiration, I live, breathe, and dream about the colors, textures, and depth that will bring the piece to life.

I don’t believe in limiting myself creatively. Alongside pet portraits, I also enjoy painting landscapes, florals, and creating celebrity portraits in graphite and pastel. My work has been featured in Artist Closeup magazine, and my skills extend into graphic illustration.
